Letters of Ann Maury [manuscript], 1826-1857, bulk 1852-1876.

The majority of the letters concern the publication and purchase of her enlarged edition of "Memoirs of a Huguenot family," compiled from the original autobiography of the Reverend James Fontaine and partially published in 1838. In addition to letters re the ordering and purchasing of "Memoirs" topics include family news and genealogy including Dabney Herndon Maury's Mexican War service.
